Job Description :
Seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to support applications supporting the Michigan Department of Education’s (MDE) Health and Nutrition Systems using Agile Methodologies.
The person in this role will join 3 current developers to maintain existing systems, as well as develop a new web application. They will be participating in all aspects of Agile development, including Backlog grooming, Spring Planning, Standups, Review and Retrospectives. Projects supported will be: Michigan Nutrition Database (MIND) – A .net 4.0 web forms application for claims and reimbursement, that support the Child Nutrition Programs offered by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). MiND 2.0 – This will be a new .net Core 3.1 application to replace the current MiND using Microsoft Blazor as the UI and RESTful APIs and SQL server in the back end. The ideal candidate will have tested experience in: - Analysis, design, programming, implementing, and supporting web-based applications. - Experience developing data driven applications. - Experience in Agile Software Development. Desired Start Date would be: June 07, 2021, Interview Dates/Times Interviews will be conducted on-line with Microsoft Teams. Wednesday, May 19, 9:00-10:00, 10:10 – 11:10, 3:00 – 4:00 Thursday, May 20, 11:00 – 12:00, 1:00 – 2:00 Contract Length: 12 months *Contract will be 1 month under CAI and then extended to June 2022. • Contract may be extended as desired. CAI Hourly Not to Exceed Rate: 74.86
