Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement software integrations and developer tools to optimize software delivery
• Lead a cross-functional Cloud Operations and Cloud engineering teams supporting infrastructure services
• Enforce sound practices in key operational areas: Config management, Change Management, Incident Management, User Management, Networking and Security services
• Collaborate with the development team to streamline code deployment
• Implement automation tools and frameworks
• Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation (Runbooks/Playbooks)
• Manage comprehensive Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and guide the development projects in all infrastructure-related matters
• Ensures all IT infrastructure is secure, well-designed, and supports all parts of the development cycle.
• Mentor and support other Engineers across different experience levels and foster growth by setting challenging goals
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong understanding of software development practices and web applications development
• Expertise in network, server and application-status monitoring
• Expertise with Database operations and deployment
• Expertise with Configuration Management Tools (Chef)
• Expertise with building infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Expertise with CI/CD automation tools (Jenkins, Github Actions)
• Working knowledge of Containers and Container Orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)
• Expertise in managing AWS Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience with DevSecOps tools
