Senior Azure DevOps .Net Developer - Remote

The Senior Azure DevOps .Net Developer will help teach and guide the existing .Net team was continue moving into the Azure cloud.  The Software Developer will be responsible for researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs.

This is a hands-on role that is expected to teach, guide, and perform code review.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all aspects of Agile Software Development Life Cycle.
• Use SOLID development principles to deliver quality digital, web, and mobile solutions.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Perform peer code reviews.
• Translate designs/wireframes to high quality responsive HTML and CSS
• Participate in the development and testing of Cross-browser and cross-devices, with appropriate use of HTML5 and CSS3 in modern, responsive experiences on the web.
• Interact with Product Owners and business representatives to determine and satisfy needs.
• Support monthly and ad-hoc releases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Help to define enterprise standards for our new applications.
• Follow and Enforce Test driven development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of hands on .Net development experience.
• Hands on experience with .Net core, Azure services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage etc.
• 2+ years of Azure DevOps using the following tools/approach:
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Azure DevOps Hands on experience with creating ARM (Azure Resource Manager) Templates.
• Azure DevOps – build and release pipeline setup and execution, Azure DevOps Administration and Azure Boards
• 2+ years PaaS implementation experience in Azure Web Apps, API
• 2+ Management, Logic App, Function, Service Bus experience years SQL
• 2+ Azure, Azure Tables, Cosmos
• 5+ years of hands-on-experience delivering solutions related to
• 5+ enterprise integration, APIs, service-oriented architecture years of
• 5+ in-depth development experience with C#/.NET years Microsoft SQL
• 5+ Server experience (Configuration, Administration and Tuning) years
• 5+ PowerShell experience (JSON, XML, other scripting an asset) years
• 5+ Visual Studio with Continuous Integration
• 3+ years performing object-oriented design and building backend
• 3+ applications with REST API services
• 2+ years of UI development experience working with UI/UX Designers 
• Demonstrable understanding of Web Services (SOAP, REST), XML and JSON formats document schemas, HTTP protocol, and underlying internetworking concepts Strong knowledge of EAI SOA best practices, development methodologies standards
• Experience working on complex state machines Experience orchestrating complex use cases involving multiple systems, incorporating error handling and logging
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues and defects
• Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
• 3+ years working as part of an Agile/Scrum team
• Nice to have: (Maven, Jenkins, Git, and or comparable toolsets a plus)
• MCSE or other Microsoft certifications and Azure Certifications a plus
• Hands on experience with AWS / AWS certification a plus
