Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- 10+ years of product development design and programming experience in Java, scripting, Microservices, data design, data migration.
- Experience within high tech, software and/or wireless/telecom industry highly desired
- 5+ years working within scaled agile development team
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or experience in software development
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert consumer insights and performance data into high impact product initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders
Technical skills would include; ReactJS, Java, Microservices developer, Scaled Agile Framework, full stack web design, application design
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- Experience in leading development delivery
Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View
- Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates (relative estimation), break user stories into specific subtasks
- Create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions
- Write code using ReactJS and Java to create User Interface screens and Microservices in support of OPSS activities.
- Execute a specific development methodology through application of multiple programming languages and databases
- Accountable for code quality; perform unit testing - evaluate test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting
- Perform component, contract (consumer PACT), integration testing, reporting testing
- Tier 2 and Tier 3 Production Support - solves configuration and environment issues
- Understands, implements and tests accessibility requirements
- ReactJS and Java Full stack developers
- LNP Application to IDP – Final testing stages – Late may deployment.
- T&C Application to IDP – Coding in progress - August / September completion.
- Activations Postpaid to IDP – Starting in PI5 – November / December Delivery
- Activations Prepaid to IDP – Starting mid/late PI5 – December / January Delivery
- OPSS to the Cloud Modernization/Migration – currently on hold – expected to be taken off in PI5.
