Security Engineer
Location - St. Louis, MO
Contract to hire
Evaluates, designs, maintains, and upgrades hardware and software to provide security services to all client associates and clients worldwide.
Designs, implements, and maintains firewall policies, under limited supervision.
Utilizes various security services to monitor systems and programs and performs internal and external security scanning.
Performs log analysis: IDS/Traffic, server/host, application.
Monitors network traffic and attached devices for anomalous behavior.
Leads internal team projects to maintain security infrastructure; mentors less experienced associates.
Provides security consulting expertise to project teams for enterprise implementations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience5+ years’ experience in information systemsPreferred:
Master’s degree and/or LOMA certification

Advanced knowledge of firewalls, security designs, and maintenance/expansion of secure network environmentAdvanced oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge
