Title: SAS Developer
Location: Cincinnati Ohio/Remote

Description: 
Responsible for the logic development to support marketing for outbound channels such as the email and direct mail. Manage the release schedule and the validation of new offers. Follows best practices and standards and participates in communities of practice to continuously refine and document these standards.
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recommendation Engine / Campaign Design
Design, develop, test, execute, and analyze logic and business rules, ensuring that campaigns meet Bancorp best practices for design, compliance and analysis.
Configures decision logic for the marketing tool, creating and modifying offers upon request.
Interprets business requirements and identifies solutions to meet business objectives.
Practice test-driven development.
Participate in communities of practice by following standards, reviewing others code, and sharing knowledge.
Manages the offers feeding the decision platform, ensures the associated data is updated regularly in Contact History.
Performs troubleshooting and problem resolution for existing application software.
Demonstrates proven knowledge in one or more application or systems.
Maintains current applications by analyzing process flows, researching issues and implementing system changes.
Responsible for logic performance and issue resolution of production incidents, which may require 24x7 coverage.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in computer related field.
Typically requires minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience.
Knowledge of SQL, SAS, Java preferred.
Database and analytical experience preferred.
Proficient with MS-Windows and other related PC applications.
Experience with all steps in the analytic process including problem definition, hypothesis development, program design, and results analysis, summarizing and presenting analytics in an executive-ready format.
Excellent analytical, and written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team.
 
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must Have
Being able to read SAS is REQUIRED
Knowledge of SQL, and SAS, Database and analytical experience preferred.
