Job Description:
The NC Office of the State Controller HR Payroll services section requires an SAP Specialist to migrate the SAP database systems to AWS as part of the OSC HR Payroll Hardware Refresh initiative.
****This position is primarily remote, however; on-site work will be required at the discretion of the hiring manager. If the candidate is required to come onsite the manager will try to provide as much notice as possible and travel will be at the candidate's expense.
This position will migrate HR Payroll SAP HCM systems from Oracle Solaris with Oracle database to AWS Oracle Linux with Oracle Database. The person must be SAP certified to perform the migrations.
The North Carolina Office of the State Controller is performing a Hardware Refresh which is required approximately every five years to update hardware due to normal degradation.
The North Carolina Office of the State Controller is seeking an SAP certified operating system/database migration specialist to perform multiple database migrations as part of the Hardware Refresh project.
Duties include the following:
• Migrating HR Payroll SAP HCM systems from Oracle Solaris with Oracle database to AWS Oracle Linux with Oracle Database
• Executing the migrations per SAP specification
• Validating the migrations per SAP specification
