SAP Solution Architect Minneapolis, MN 12 Months Required Skills SAP Solutions Architect with experience in: 1.) SAP HANA 2.) SAP Financials/FICO (AR, AP, GL, at a minimum) Duties * Act as a liaison between Technical team, Functional team, Business Functions, and System Integrators to drive architecture solutions * Perform hands-on solution design, solution architectures, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks * Provides solution architectures spanning highly complex processes, systems, applications and technologies and 3rd party software integrations * Develop holistic solutions that address integration architecture, data architecture, and system performance across SAP and multiple other 3rd party software integrations * Ensure solution is scalable, sustainable and meets overall business requirements and adopts latest technologies and practices * Provides clear options, measures of performance and assessments for architectures to the program, project and product teams as required * Document and proficiently explain complex architectures at any level of detail to any and all levels of the organization * Review and advise on Test plan and test cases for completeness * Lead Solution Architecture reviews with program and product teams prior to design and development activities and ensure solution is scalable, is aligned with internal product roadmaps and meets customers business requirements * Mentor, coach and lead either directly or indirectly additional team resources as necessary and assist technical developers and other solution architects in understanding solutions * Document business, functional and technical requirements, design and architecture diagrams * Participate in thought leadership and vendor relationships * Work in a virtual team across distance (remote) cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, with on-shore and off-shore resources, and may extend outside the Company organization including suppliers, partners, and trade customers * Consult on master data management * Other duties as assigned * Bachelor's degree required with strong academic record in Accounting or IT-related field of study * 8-15 years of progressive work experience in a technical/system related role * Prior implementation experience as a Solution Architect with SAP S/4HANA * Proven experience in large enterprise systems design - Object oriented analysis and design * Experience in database and data design * Hands on architecture documentation experience * Experience with SAP Finance/Billing/Purchasing solutions (ex: BRIM, Ariba, Leasing, Treasury, etc). * Certification related to working with the HANA DB * Experience integrating with Mainframe * Experience working with AWS Cloud or other Cloud technologies * Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Hibernate) RESTful APIs design and development
