Resource should be the SAP Technical Architect in coordinating & handling the service provider of all technical activities associated to SAP systems as below but not limited to:-
SAP Application Basis & Infra Basis
DataBase
middleware systems,
Job schedulers(CPS system),
Data Center coordination,
OS mgt & admin understanding
System security & UAM with knowledge on scripting and integration activities.
Provide direction and guidance to the SAP Basis, DB, PI and other technical team by setting priorities
Resource should liason the business requirements working in tandem with functional team - both internal and service provider
Resource should Lead the implementation of technical aspects of the system by maintaining an expert-level awareness of the functionality and system configuration
Resource should ensure adherence of supported SAP systems to Daimler Security Mandates by implementation of the Hardening guidelines and adhering to the timelines
Resource should plan, coordinate, execute and communicate the SAP BASIS & DB projects like Hardware migrations, data center moves, DB upgrade, SAP upgrade, Patching etc
Implement, Test and execute the Disaster Recovery mechanism for SAP systems in close conjunction with business units
Provide n level SAP technical support for all supported systems of SAP and connected non-sap systems
Define and implement industry best practices and Daimler standards into operational procedures and system operations
