Job Description :
SAP BO(Application and Platform)
Installs, configures, and upgrades Business Objects application suite.
Maintains patch levels. Monitors system performance and availability to identify and resolve performance issues tuning the Business Objects system for optimum performance.
Creates and maintains BOBJ security groups, folders and categories to assure only authorized personnel can access Universes.
Administers security authentication of users and groups. Adds, maintains, and deletes user accounts.
Verifies data quality and ensures that BOBJ is in-sync with the source systems. Customizes/configures Business Objects
Universes using IDT Universe Designer, and ODBC connections. Design and creation of classes, objects, entity relationships
and SQL queries needed to retrieve desired data for reporting requirements. Advance Business Objects universe design,
development and maintenance support. Develops custom functionality utilizing PL/SQL.
Technical support in the use and implementation of relational database products. Oracle/DB2 database and objects modeling, implementation, development and test. Report optimization to increase query performance. Provides Business Objects
universes design Subject Matter Expert (SME) support. Creates processes for capturing and maintaining metadata.
Configure/Optimize Servers settings. Apply trace logs on servers in case of troubleshooting complex incidents.
Regular BO repository Maintenance like Cleaning Orphaned Connection/Universe/Documents.
Migration of reports/ universes/ users along with security settings from one DEV/QA stage to PROD Environment using Promotion Management tool following Change Management Process.
Creating new project setup with security for new application.
