Position: SAP APO Lead Analyst
Location: Onsite twice a week in Northfield
Duration: 6 month CTH
Responsibilities:
• Primarily responsible for assisting in designing solutions within Demand Planning, SNP, reporting, data analysis, data movement and inventory optimization to business challenges in our Supply Chain functional area
• Additional responsibilities will be supporting the business with issues, and questions and resolutions to them
• Works closely with the business community to perform functional analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options that include but are not limited to new program development, the configuration of existing systems, business process redesign, new package/system evaluation, or a combination of these options and support of issue tickets
• Demonstrates functional product knowledge within the area of responsibility
• Serves as a point person for addressing support, issues, and enhancements related to the specific product and functional area
• Support, design, and help with requirements elicitation in the SCM area with respect to Data movement between ECC and APO
• Bring best practices in architecting, designing & supporting APO-DP/SNP and MM/PP application
• Communication with end-users & team members is a must
• Gather Functional/Business requirements from users & sponsor
• Author & Communicate business process design (BPD), business systems design (BSD), and system test plan
• Schedule & perform a BSD walk-through with a development team
• String & system test execution
Qualifications:
• Ideal candidates will have a background in an SAP APO and ECC-MM/PP environment of a fast-paced, large corporate organization
• In addition to strong leadership and analytical skills, you must have a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
• This position will require the successful candidate to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated by their start date
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
• 1+ years of total SAP systems experience implementing APO and ECC(MM/PP) solutions specific to APO DP/SNP
• Functional and business knowledge in APO-DP, SNP, and Procure to Pay
• Hands-on experience with SAP APO Master Data, CIF integration, APO DP, APO SNP, APO/BI infrastructure and data transfer, Procure to Pay ECC processes
• Experience working in a custom environment
• Demonstrated DP/SNP configuration and technical skills including history data mapping, APO BI design, statistical models analysis and selection (best fit vs. specific models), Macro development, Proportion factors, Demand aggregation and disaggregation, Final demand release to SNP, forecast consumption/reduction, SNP heuristic, SNP aggregate planning and hierarchy, SNP macro development
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
• Ability to organize & balance multiple projects/priorities
• Must be self-motivated with the capability to work independently
