Job Description
This international banking/financial services industry leader has an immediate 6-12+ month contract opportunity (with strong chance for extension or conversion) in Irving, TX for a Salesforce Developer. Will be responsible for designing and implementing marketing campaigns in marketing cloud. Will be working closely with internal clients supporting the deployment of ongoing and adhoc campaigns. This requires a proven track record with experience at an enterprise level supporting marketing campaigns. Requires experience and knowledge of Journey builder, Automation studio and deployment best practices. Must have direct experience of Salesforce Marketing cloud, experience with AMP script language is desired.
The position will be part of the Salesforce Marketing SCRUM team.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with product owner, business team and business analysts to identify enhancements to meet business needs.
Configuring and managing journeys and Automation builder.
Designing and maintaining effective BU model, approval process, workflow, and access.
Actively contributing to the development of solutions and ideas that add value.
Showing initiative to initiate and actively facilitate meetings and issue resolution, involving the right individuals.
Serving as a contact person in support of more serious production problems/issues.
Designing and developing high quality, scalable and efficient solutions and products on schedule.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing solution using SFMC in an enterprise environment.
Proficiency with SFMC development desirable.
Contact builder relational model configuration.
Ability to use SQL queries to create audience segmentation, reporting and data extracts.
REST support for leveraging SFMMC web service to transfer data to journeys
Designing and creating automations using Automation studio
Proficient in AMPSCRIPT, JAVASCRIPT, HTML and CSS
Ability to provide technical leadership to team members
Ability to present technical concepts to technical and business contacts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills expected
Ability to provide solution walkthrough with stakeholders
