Role: Salesforce Administrator

Location: 100% remote

Terms: 1+ year contract
Interview process – Zoom

This Position is 100% remote. The client prefers candidates on the East Coast.

Responsibilities for the Salesforce Administrator

•        2-4 years' experience in a Salesforce Admin role - heavy lightning focus

•        Facilitate and/or implement all functionality enhancements and bug fixes related to Salesforce, as well as communicating this information to stakeholders throughout the business

•        Monitor and manage internal Salesforce storage limits and licensing

•        Serve as liaison, frequent communication with external and internal stakeholders

•        Triage, analyze and resolve or coordinate resolution of all incoming Salesforce break fixes in a timely manner. Additionally, the Admin is responsible for the logging and tracking of these issues and their respective fixes.

•        Work with management and end-users to create and manage workflow rules, data validations, triggers, approval processes, reports, custom objects, custom fields, etc.

•        Maintain user permissions and field/object accessibility, including creating new or amending existing profiles and imposing restrictions

•        Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help-related materials for users

•        Ensure data integrity by owning and managing the data load process

•        Perform Data Uploads as required. These uploads have specific turn-around-time requirements which must be met.

•        The Salesforce application has plugins which have separate contracts and subscriptions dates. The administrator will be responsible for tracking these dates and preparing accordingly for them as well as periodically review other services which are similar and less expensive. Once the evaluation is complete, suggest a migration to a new product if appropriate.

•        Field questions from internal end users and management to determine viability of next steps/updates/projects 

Qualifications for Salesforce Administrator

•        Must be a self-starter, fast learner and a strong individual contributor and team player

•        Must have project management and analytical skills in order to coordinate requested changes and provide necessary details for requested customizations

•        Must be willing to learn organizational structure and the various business processes involved and how they may be affected by change

•        Proven communication skills in order to maintain strong relationships with key groups

•        Must be able to tailor your communications to your target audience appropriately, ranging from management and professional audiences to technical and end users.

•        Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills; must be able to balance multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

•        Must have an interest in application configuration planning and execution.

•        Prior experience performing Salesforce administration required.

•        Must be reasonably available for “off-hours” support related tasks and emergency triaging of issues when they arise.
