JOB SUMMARY
seeking a Sr. Full Stack .NET Developer for a 6 month contract to hire an opportunity. This role is based in Austin and if you live in Austin you will have the option of working from home or in the office. The Sr. Full Stack .NET Developer provides design and development of software, API, and database components on an SMS platform. This platform is built using Microsoft .Net C#, MySQL, and React. Working collaboratively with the software and quality assurance engineering team, this position contributes to the overall platform architecture design, leads design of selected domains, and develops, tests, and maintains both prototype and production software. Key to the role is the ability to take domain areas of platform architecture and lead the design, development, and test of all elements including the User Interface, information security, business logic and workflow, and database components.
Collaborate with Lead Software Engineer in concepts, discussions, designs, and documentation of the next generation platform.
Full stack design, development, test and support for major components or domain areas of the next generation platform.
Develop design and code patterns for reuse across the platform.
Design database tables, procedures, and data formats.
Collaborate with Business in planning and strategy for future product and platform directions and capabilities.
Analyzes and trouble shoots production issues, designs and deploys correcting software.
Work with the software engineering team in establishing release and deployment processes and tools.
Work with the software engineering team in establishing software test automation processes and tools.
Creates, documents & communicates high level technical designs to outside business partners as needed.
Collaboratively develops and supports API Integrations with Team Members and outside business partners.
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience as a full stack developer in a .Net, MySQL technology environment.
5+ years of experience with at least one modern framework such as React, Angular, or VUE.
5+ years in web technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
5+ years designing clean and scalable RESTful APIs.
5+ years with MySQL.
2+ years with cloud technologies using AWS or Azure.
2+ years with ElasticSearch.
2+ years with Inversion of Control (IoC) like StructureMap or Unity.
2+ years of experience with .Net Core.
1+ years with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, Cosmos DB or MongoDB.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming language paradigms.
Basic systems integration experience with RESTful APIs and HL7 integrations.
Experience with all phases of agile development.
Passion for writing readable, low defect, unit tested code.
Experience with maintaining and supporting 24x7 mission critical systems.
Experience in Atlassian tool suite (Confluence and Jira), test automation tools such as Selenium, source code management GIT, and release management and deployment tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
PREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED)
Experience with accessibility (including WCAG 1.4 AA standards), MS SQL, Colo to cloud transitions.
