Position: QA Analyst  

Location: St Louis, MO  (Onsite day 1)

Duration: Long Term 

 

Important: Manual QA, Web services, SQL

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         6+ years of professional In-depth experience in Software Quality Assurance & Testing.

·         Min 3-4 years on Mobile, Telecom and/or Provisioning experience. Mobile/Telecom experience is must.

·         Soap UI/Postman/Webservices & SQL queries experience is must.

·         Billing Systems (Amdocs), Stores/Inventory knowledge is good to have.

·         Postman, Octane & ALM experience is good to have. Hands-on exp of atleast 1 test management tool (ALM/Octane) is must.

·         Should be good to work from Office, support extra hour work as per project’s requirements, if needed.

·         Candidate should have good experience working in On/Offshore model and leading teams with Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.

·         Ability to research, solve problems, and work both independently and in a team environment

·         Must have excellent time management skills, Identify dependency

·         Design, Develop and Deploy Test Cases.

·         Smoke Test the environment

·         Run Functional Test Cases for new functionality/ enhancements

·         Run Regression Test suite to support existing functionality

·         Regular follow ups with Development, BA and other stakeholder team on defect status

·         Attend & manage Defect Triage calls

·         Daily meeting with development team on changes introduced and testing re-planning

·         Able to publish Test Reports.

·         Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, ALM and various software testing models and methodologies.

·         Perform manual tests in support of software test requirements.

·         Manages and supports the execution of varying types of complex test cases: i.e., service level, component, and functional, regression, mobile, and end-to-end, etc. analysis.

·         Document defects and collaborate with the development team on managing test results and feedback to developers.

·         Provides detailed status reporting, metrics and execution dashboards.

·         Works well with customers and vendors, knows when and how hard to push to maintain a stable and reliable environment

·         Performs technical troubleshooting / diagnostic analysis of system defects and conducts impact assessment.
