Job Description :
Edify Technologies is in pursuit of a Sr. BI Data Modeler/Data Architect to join our Client's dynamic team in Chicago and the details are given below;
 
Responsibilities:
  • Defines the end-use of the database
  • Create a blueprint for developing, testing, and maintaining the database. 
  • Design, build and oversee the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions, and software to capture, manage, store and utilize structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources.
  • Establishes and builds processes and structures based on business and technical requirements to channel data from  Creates and establishes design standards and assurance processes to ensure compatibility and operability of data connections, flows, and storage requirements.
  • Reviews internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and suggests changes and upgrades to systems and storage accommodate ongoing needs.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another related field
  • Excellent ability to write Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL.
  • Exposure with Power BI or another visualization tool.
  • Ability to design and implement Tabular models in SSAS.
  • Ability to design and implement ETL in SSIS.
  • Ability to build relational Dimensional Data models using the Kimball methodology.
  • Knowledge of DAX coding language.
  • 3 years of working with an Enterprise Data Warehouse and writing ETL.
  • 3 years minimum of SSAS experience ( Tabular models preferred )
