Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer Consultant

Location: Woodland Hills, CA  (Remote)

Duration: Long term

Rate: DOE

Job Description:

Responsibilities :

  • Work in complex integration system and help with devops practice  
  • Strong background of Container platforms and Micro Services. Extensive experience with Shell, Python Scripts Experience in Terraform and Ansible
  • Good understanding and working knowledge on the devops tools like Bamboo, bitbucket, ArgoCD Good insight on cloud native service like AWS EC2,S3, EKS, API Gateway, IAM, RDS, ELB, etc.,
  • Work with Configuration management team and Production support team to improve

Processes and procedures

  • Work closely with IT SWAT team to troubleshoot complex issues in Dev/Test/Staging environments to help project teams remove impediments.
  • Contribute in continuing CI/CD process-improvement efforts.
  • Work in a time sensitive environment
  • Will frequently interact with Software Leads and Functional Managers and must possess excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) to foster a team engaged approach.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience with the following platforms and technologies: Atleast 5 years of experience in DevsecOps and 2+ year of cloud working experience
  • Programming Languages: 2 to 3 years of Shell Scripting, Maven, Python and JavaScript
  • Server Apps: 3-5 years of experience in atleast one of the container technology like docker swarm, Kubernetes, EKS, Openshift container platform and experience in apache HTTP Server & Nginix ITIL
  • Processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management, CMDB
  • OS: Linux, AIX
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills is a must.
  • Cloud certification is a plus.
