The Senior QA Automation Engineer is responsible for automating the testing scripts analyzing, testing, and resolving technical issues to ensure that developed products meet the design specifications.
Complete Description:
The Senior QA Automation Engineer is responsible for automating the testing scripts analyzing, testing, and resolving technical issues to ensure that developed products meet the design specifications. This position is responsible for leading and guiding QA for client Apps
Responsibilities:
• Setup the automation test environment using selenium tool and run the automated test cases for all client apps.
• Develops and executes automated and/or manual software
quality assurance testing.
• Expertise in creating test plans, developing test scenarios for applications.
• Creates and executes test designs, strategies, and cases.
• Develops test methods for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and .net.
• Experience in writing SQL queries to debug the data.
• Determines regression test scenarios to ensure existing functionality was not affected from new development.
• Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows.
• Tracks and communicates application errors (defects) to development teams in a clear and concise manner. Verifies fixes.
• Document test results according to required procedures.
• Hands on experience in Data-driven testing using Selenium.
• Proven experience with smoke testing, data driven, functional and regression testing.
• Be knowledgeable about HTML, JavaScript and Git.
• Knowledgeable about project management tools.
• Collaborate closely with teams, (developers, architects, team leads and project managers) in order to effectively test projects/issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
SKILLS:
At least 7-year experience in setting up automation test environment using selenium tool and running the automation test script
At least 5-year experience in creating automated test scripts using Selenium and .Net
At least 5-year experience in Agile/Scrum Testing Experience using Azure DevOps
At least 5-year experience in Load Testing
At least 3- year experience in SQL Server Queries and Procs
At least 5-year experience in SQE process, SQE documentation, Agile development methodology, and testing
At least 5 -year experience in Organize, implement, and execute defined testing processes within the test team
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Computer related field preferred with five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience and/or equivalent work experience. Experience leading and mentoring multiple teams and projects required; or equivalent education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
