Job Description :

Hi,

R Programmer : Princeton, NJ

HCL

Essential requirements:

  • demonstrable experience of R programming  and a range of data manipulation and visualization packages ( plotly, ggplot, dplyr)
  • experience of building interactive/dynamic R Shiny applications
  • understand how to optimally write R code to optimise performance and readability
  • have a practical knowledge of at least one front-end programming language (e.g. JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
  • are familiar with Git
  • are familiar with RS Connect
  • know limitations of R and Shiny and propose ideas how to overcome them
  • have proven track of end-to-end testing of their Shiny apps
  • can connect R application to a number of different sources such as local files, SQL database, APIs
  • has a basic understanding of SQL stored procedures

 Nice to have but not essential:

  • Experience of developing scalable, enterprise grade applications
  • Experience of developing plumber APIs
  • Experience of CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
