The IT Application Development team is seeking a talented and experienced Oracle Applications developer with a strong emphasis on developing interfaces, report, forms for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial Management, and working with advanced functional EBS Financials users.

This job requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to collaborate and deliver quality code. You will need to possess strong communication skills, have the ability to grasp a variety of unfamiliar technologies quickly, and work in a fast paced, team-driven environment. You may be asked to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team’s portfolio.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and evaluates business requirements by working with finance functional team and management. Provides recommendations on the nature, scope and complexity of solutions.
  • Acts as Lead by developing and documenting technical specifications and project plans for proposed solutions to business requirements of moderate to high complexity. Develops (codes), tests, documents, educates and supports subsequent software solutions
  • Supports Oracle Financial applications, integration points and work based on the impact to the business. You may coordinate with cross-functional IT departments to resolve issues.
  • Uses troubleshooting skills to identify, research and propose solutions to problems and accommodate necessary changes or corrective action, as needed.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials, Oracle RDBMS and UNIX shell or comparable scripting language.
  • Expertise in Setups / Data flows / Interfaces (standard & custom) / Functionality.
  • Oracle Reports 12g, Oracle Forms 12g, Oracle ADI, Query tools, XML Publisher reports, Oracle PL*SQL, SQL, SQL*Loader.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related degree or relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of solid experience in analysis, design, configuration and implementation on Oracle Financials Modules: Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivables, eBTax (or Tax apps) with R12 release 12.1.3 or higher
  • 5+ years of experience building custom applications, PL/SQL packages/procedures, UNIX Shell scripting and interface development.
  • Proven industry experience as an Oracle Financial Developer with a strong understanding of oracle R12 and application platform.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven analytical, time-management, and problem solving skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
  • Solid understanding of the architecture of the major functional platform(s) - Oracle Financials, SFTP servers, ETL tools.
  • Ability to use and extend existing code framework to implement new functionality.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience Salesforce platform
  • Experience as a QE Tester
  • Experience working as part of a Scrum team practicing Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial cloud applications is a big plus.
  • Experience in global ERP implementation especially implementations related to North America , EMEA, APAC countries
  • Experience using Source Control Management systems
