The position does require 5+ years of experience with Guidewire along with Commercial lines and PolicyCenter experience - the candidate will need 2+ years of experience in Commercial lines documented on their resume.
The successful candidate will develop, encode, test, debug, document, and install programs to support business applications.
· Develop technical designs for application development
· Perform software analysis, programming, testing and debugging
· Work with Business Systems Analysts to transform functional requirements into system specifications
· Work with advanced programming logic and techniques
· Ensure programs effectively interface across various applications
· Analyze and improve application performance
· Participate in problem definition, analysis and development of solutions
· Work on a development team using Agile methodology to deliver automation solutions
Required Skills
· 6+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter
· Experience with Commercial Lines
· Strong design, development, modification and deployment skills, including object-oriented programming concepts.
· Java, JavaScript, .NET, JSON, jQuery, ASP, and SQL server
· Experience with Agile methodology
· Knowledge of P&C Insurance
