Job Title: .Net / SQL server Developer
Location: Richmond, VA (Remote)
Duration: 9 Months
Note: If selected consultant need to pick the laptop from onsite.
Experience Level: 10+ Yr's
Rate: $60/hr. on C2C or $55/hr on 1099
Description:
*interviews will be conducted via Skype or Google Hangout
*candidates will telework (after coming to office to pick up laptop).
*please do not submit candidates who were submitted to the previous VDH .NET/SQL Server reqs
Works as part of the Virginia Department of Health, Office of Information Management (VDH) to develop and maintain multiple messaging team .net applications.
Messaging team would need a .net resource to work on multiple projects. This resource will be helping messaging team in maintaining meaningful use provider registration application, Outbreak Portal and VERIP application. This resource will also assist in new development and maintenance tasks of various .net based applications.
Specific Task(s):
- Maintain And Enhance ASP.NET 3.5/MVC3 applications with C#
- Development of a new ASP.NET MVC 4 application with Entity Framework 4 Codefirst, C#, JQuery
- Consume and/or create a Web Service
- SQL database - design DB, create Views, stored procedures and functions, performance fine tuning.
- Work with a Source Control and Defect tracker for application promotion processes
