Role: .Net RESTful Application Developer
Location: Oklahoma city, OK (Prefer Onsite but can work w/ REMOTE )
Duration: 6-12 Plus Months Contract
eDataForce Consulting LLC Client is looking for a .Net /RESTful Application Developer to join our Customer Experience Portal Application Development team. As a member of the Application Development team you will be responsible for software development and testing for new and existing products. We are looking for an individual with expertise designing and deploying customer facing. NET web applications, along with RESTful services. The ideal individual for this position will be a subject matter expert with proven track record delivering commercial quality. NET products
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop. NET web applications with Sitecore along with backend RESTful services
· Understand and follow best practices for delivery of consumer products on www. loves. com
· Integrate www. loves. com with back-end RESTful services
· Understanding of importance of maintainable / sustainable product solutions
· Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues and defects through collaboration and monitoring application performance
· Work closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts in defining and analyzing requirements and outline proposed technology solutions
· Participate and provide subject matter expertise in web product design working closely with creative and business teams to deliver best-in-class customer experience
· Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications
· Accountable for uptime and high-availability for products supported
· Deliver solutions in an Agile - Scrum project methodology
· Learning new technologies when required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor s Degree or 4 years equivalent experience
· 9+ years of application development in. NET
· Experience with Sitecore a plus
· Experience with RESTful services and OData a plus
· Experience with MVC, MVVM, and SPA a plus
· Experience with securing applications and services with SAML, OAuth, and / orOpenId a plus.
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Skills:
· Strong proficiency in web application and service development
· Strong proficiency in C#
· Strong proficiency in JavaScript
· Proficiency in Sitecore a plus
· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and/or TFSVC
· Product mindset with strong customer focus
· Ability to operate effectively both independently as well and within a team using Agile methodology
· Able to recommend and enforce industry best practices and patterns
