Qualifications for the position:
1. experience migrating MS Access or other legacy applications to the .net platform, 2. have strong SQL & C# skills 3. fully able to modify existing C# source code to match functionality in existing MS Access databases.4. Experience supporting production .net systems as well as legacy MS Access systems.
Additional Skills:
Net: C# (asp.net, ability to connect to database from the application, run queries and stored procedures, create reports in DevExpress) • Microsoft Access• VBA (Excel and Access)• SQL Server (create scripts for tables, views, stored procedures, T-SQL statements to update, delete, insert, create objects, use SSDT in Visual Studio to create packages and schedule jobs)• Candidate should show the ability to solve problems after looking at documents, applications, and SQL scripts, and find out what needs to be done to create and modify applications to make them work.Familiar with visual studio tool and MS SQL Server Management Studio
