Role: –Quality Engineer
Bill Rate: $76/hour C2C
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ months/ long-term
Interview Criteria: Telephonic + Zoom
Direct Client Requirement

What You'll Do: (Responsibilities)

  • Manage - guide, lead & direct quality technicians
  • Understanding customer expectations of and needs from a product
  • Developing quality control processes
  • Supervising and monitoring production standards
  • Monitoring and evaluating internal production processes
  • Evaluating the final output of products to determine their quality
  • Rejecting products that fail quality standards
  • Engaging with customers and gathering product feedback
  • Producing statistical reports on quality standards
  • Reporting to upper management on quality standard issues
  • Improving production efficiency and managing waste

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • High School Diploma or GED are required
  • 3 + years of experience in Quality Engineering
  • Ability to work / rotate through all 3 shifts (1st, 2nd & 3rd )
  • Ability to work over-time, weekends, holidays, etc. as needed
  • Excellent attention to detail. Highly conscientious and diligent .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others .
  • Capable of handling multiple projects without direct supervision. Analytical ability where problems are unusual or difficult .
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others .
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations, processes, and best practices .
  • Basic understanding of quality principles .
  • Knowledge /ability to implement lean manufacturing principles.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications )

  • Preferred : College degree or equivalent training/experience .
  • 5 + years of experience in Quality Engineering .
  • Experience in casting/propulsion processes and equipment .
  • Multiple different manufacturing assignments with successful individual achievements or strong team-based achievements .
  • Problem solving experience with Practical Problem Solving, 7-Diamonds, Red-X
  • Quality control certification .
  • Data analysis and statistical aptitude.
