 Quality Assurance Automation Engineer ( Selenium WebDriver ) 18 months Houston TX ( ONSITE )

 

 

 Specifically looking for someone with knowledge of digital banking to include, Mobile, Online Banking and P2P (Person to Person payments). Ability to run manual testing on multiple devices as well as preferred knowledge of Xamarin Test Cloud simulation platform or any other mobile test simulation platform.
 

Description:

The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer II will work with cross functional agile teams and DevOps QA members to evaluate tests and develop automation scripts for inclusion within the automation framework. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate manual and automated test cases into reusable automated test scrips.
  • Create test scripts and components to accommodate testing for multiple cross functional teams.
  • Maintain components of the automation framework to ensure that changes to feature/function or process within releases has been accommodated.
  • Build and maintain a test automation framework and inventory of automated test suites.

 

Competencies Required:

  • Ability to understand requirements and identified test cases, and work with automation engineers and QA resources to gain familiarity of the automation framework.
  • Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail and concern for data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of web automation using Selenium WebDriver or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

 

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a software test or development environment required.
  • 2+ years of experience using Selenium WebDriver or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience using Agile and Scrum methodologies preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience implementing Automation scripts and frameworks required.

 

Formal Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related field preferred; or an equivalent amount of directly related experience.
