 QA LEAD   

  • TECH:
    • Five years’ experience in software quality assurance in CI/CD enterprise environments
    • Experience with automated testing in Visual Studio and .NET
    • Experience with testing frameworks and applications (e.g. Selenium, Postman, etc.)
    • Solid experience working as part of an Agile team with product managers, designers, and engineers

 

  • SOFT SKILLS:
    • Client facing soft skills, so the better the soft skills, the better the fit.  Calls, emails, texts and Zoom calls with clients.
    • The ones who like working at our client are those who like being a “consultant”. 
    • Consulting background a huge plus (Anderson, Ernst & Young, PWC, Bearing Point, etc.).


What you’ll be doing (mostly).

  • Create functional test plans and use cases
  • Design, create, and maintain test automation code using tools available on (or compatible with) Azure and Azure DevOps
  • Diagnose and reproduce issues found in test and production environments
  • Work closely with product and development teams to create user stories and appropriate test plans
  • Participate in requirements, design, and product backlog meetings to produce testing effort estimates
  • Ensure QA test execution and result validation is being done consistently across QA team
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise on testing and QA as a practice
  • Effectively communicate findings to project stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
  • Help to establish critical path, milestones, and review deliverables to ensure they meet user acceptance criteria

Requirements

  • Five years’ experience in software quality assurance in CI/CD enterprise environments
  • Experience with automated testing in Visual Studio and .NET
  • Experience with testing frameworks and applications (e.g. Selenium, Postman, etc.)
  • Solid experience working as part of an Agile team with product managers, designers, and engineers
  • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing with a high degree of precision using technical language
  • Hands-on experience researching and documenting best practices for security testing and accessibility testing
  • Familiar with issue tracking software such as JIRA

Bonus Points:

  • Strong understanding of web accessibility standards, particularly WCAG 2.1
  • Advanced understanding of established security standards such as OWASP Top 10
  • Exposure to A/B testing fundamentals, tools, and strategy
  • Basic knowledge of gathering and leveraging consumer analytics
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities with a desire to foster a positive cross-functional team culture
