DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 QA Engineer Automated 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of QA Engineer Automated 3, Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).
The QA Engineer Automated is an Information Technology (IT) position and will provide testing services for the mandated enhancements of the Childcare Licensing Automation Support System (CLASS) Foster Care Litigation and CLASS Stabilization project. This position will create test cases and scripts for functional and nonfunctional requirements, prepare test data, execute test scripts, analyze data, support user acceptance testing, and provide defect triaging. The project is expected to produce several CLASS deployments throughout fiscal year 22.
The workers responsibilities and skills must include:
Create test cases and scripts
Maintain and update UFT Test suites for regression testing
Prepare test data to be loaded in the database
Execute test script logging results
Document defects including steps to reproduce
Utilize analysis and diagramming tools to represent business processes
Must have historical and proven knowledge and practical application of testing best practices
Other duties as assigned
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (Required)
Minimum (Required) Graduation from a four year college or university with a Major in Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
