QA Automation Lead
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 6 Months
Description:
Test Automation Lead has 9+ years'' combined experience in software delivery including expert knowledge of multiple SDLC approaches, strong understanding of structured testing, sound development skills and minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in developing and delivering test automation solutions using commercial tools from HP/IBM/Microsoft and/or open source tools such as Ruby/Cucumber and Selenium. Responsible for the overall test automation approach by ensuring effective solutions; creates automation strategy and standards, oversees all automation activities.
* Provide test automation architecture, standards and frameworks for projects to leverage
* Work closely with Performance Test Lead to provide technical leadership for performance testing including architecture, standards and frameworks
* Determine, acquire and make available tools for test automation and performance testing
* Work with individual projects to specify the appropriate test automation approach, tools and environment
* Evaluate utilization of existing and new technologies and tools
* Provide end to end automated test solutions
* Guide and monitor test automation engineer''s efforts, including code reviews
* Review project test plans for possibility of leveraging automation efficiencies
* Coordinate the procurement of representative data sets required for test scenarios/scripts
* Coordinate the needed integration points for automated test execution
* Experience training and mentoring users around test automation
