Job Description:
This job involves primarily creating and integrating test tools, load generators, scripts and test plans for testing Cloud Software and applications, executing those test plans and collecting and analyzing test results. Focus for this position will be application performance testing for a large scale, high performance distributed file system deployed in a cloud environment.
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years in system test and validation.
- Experience integrating test tools, creating/implementing load generation profiles, creating test scripts in Python and other scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience in testing Cloud Orchestration software technology and applications.
- Experience with PHP/Python, .NET, Linux/Windows scripting, and REST APIs from Cloud/Virtualization solutions like vSphere, AWS and OpenStack.
- Kubernetes and strong docker, ansible experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Additional Industry training required (for facilities and construction): Years of experience required: 1-3
- BS Computer Science desired but not required.
- Intel Experience
Qualifications:
- Experience developing a Linux package such as an APT or RPM package
- 1-3+ years' experience with standard open-source developer workflows (Git, code reviews)
- 1-3+ years' experience with automation using Python
Preferred Qualifications - BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
