Role: Project Manager w/ Loan Origination System (LOS) - 100% REMOTE
Location: 100% REMOTE
Duration: 6-12 Plus Months Contract

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Project Manager, Business Analyst, Mapping…Requirements Gathering can be stretched to try to overcome. Knows Mortgage Origination. Any SME work is a bonus. If it’s broad mortgage experience, then they need to be able to drill down on Mortgage process. Documentation of Mortgage process
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Consolidate input from multiple channels to solidify detailed feature requirements through user stories, Use cases and/or functional specifications.
Convert large user stories into smaller, detailed user stories that developers, user experience, and quality assurance resources can digest.
Coordinate with development and QA to deliver enhancements and bug fixes.
Work with internal customers to understand issues and enhancement requests.
Assists with development and testing phases of projects as needed.
Follow up on outstanding issues to meet Sprint timelines.
Negotiates project plans, time frames and trade-offs with Business Partners understanding the impacts to project
Ensure that no defective products are moved to end user testing or production environments without stakeholder approval.
Assist in post-implementation issue review and continuous improvement efforts to enhance system performance.
Maintain up to date knowledge regarding mortgage industry and technology trends.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 or more years of mortgage banking experience, especially within compliance, operations management, underwriting, or loan origination system administration.
5+ or more years as a software business analyst.
3+ or more years as a software Project Manager
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, legal, development, quality assurance, support, marketing and sales.
Must have experience developing and detailing software product requirements.
Excellent understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies
Strong Technical Background with an understanding of Data entity relationships is a plus.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to summarize and present findings or challenges to all levels of staff and management.
Strong analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills.
Experienced at prioritizing, organizing and coordinating projects.
Strong to Moderate skill in writing SQL queries.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated as well as a strong team player
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or an engineering discipline required.
Experience with Ellie Mae Encompass product is a plus
Microsoft VSTS, Visio, MS office
