Job Description :

Role: Project Manager

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees all Tracking, Coordinating, recording and Reporting for multiple development projects for BI/ETL/Big Data Technologies.
  • Monitor and maintains company-wide system issues and deliver announcements related to Advanced Applications systems
  • Regularly meets with Advanced Applications user groups to better understand their application usage, goals, and issues
  • Act as the last line of defense for internal issues and escalations prior to being reported to vendors or internal development teams
  • Incorporate additional applications into existing support, analytics, and Agile processes or projects
  • Coach and mentor, the team to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and Advanced Application developers to achieve the company’s goals and implement system changes and enhancements
  • Manage and delegate responsibilities of the team.
Required Skills:
  • A Development background in BI/ETL/Database Technologies is preferred.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities to provide a clear sense of purpose, direction, and expectations for staff
  • Decision making abilities to produce quality results
  • Delegation skills with the ability to efficiently and effectively assign tasks to staff by identifying their skillsets while ensuring staff accountability and productivity
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to serve as an escalation point and knowledgeable resource to direct resolution
  • Ability to monitor employee performance in a fair and consistent manner and provide actionable feedback, address personnel issues, and provide employee recognition
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and show initiative without much management follow up/direction
  • Team building and collaboration abilities by unifying teams and setting common goals
  • Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization
