Role: Project Manager

Job Description:
Vlink has an immediate need for a Project Manager to join our financial services team in one of our several client Offsite and Onshore Delivery Center locations.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for the performance of a medium to large sized technical project, several small or medium sized projects, or a definable portion of a larger technical program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Additional duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities.
• Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation and testing in accordance with project objectives. You will be required to use our client's program management tools to manage project work plans, issues, risks, and dependencies. Produce status reports and conducts status meetings and facilitates issue resolution and risk management sessions.
• Manages projects/activities within Enterprise Data portfolio
• Partners with scrum teams to develop project plan, manage risks/issues
• Drives Path to Production (P2P) process for the team, assisting with completing required governance activities, facilitating discussions with governance groups, providing guidance on deliverables and timelines
• Drives discussions with various support groups like Enterprise Arch, L2, DBA, Cloud Infrastructure, etc. to ensure the team's dependencies are resolved and blockers are eliminated
• Interfaces with program (if team is working on a larger initiative) and represent Enterprise Data/team on status calls
• Release Management: Develop and own Implementation Plan, drive implementation activities (implementation could be on weekends)
• Creates change tickets for the team as needed – MyServices/RITM/JIRA requests
• Conducts daily standup (Note: if the team has a scrum master, the SM may run the daily standup)
• Facilitates weekly stakeholder meetings
• Supports other activities managed by the PMO. Some examples are: monthly incident tracking, tracking and reporting on tech debt, running weekly defect review calls, etc.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 6-10+ years of progressive IT experience
• 4-6 years of project management experience with Waterfall and Agile Methodologies
• Previous Mortgage Industry experience highly preferred
• Excellent planning skills using industry planning applications (i.e. Microsoft Project) and methodologies
• Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Comfortable with leading several workstreams as part of a program.
• Attention to detail, and strong communication, negotiation, client-facing and client relationship building skills
• Outstanding leadership skills
• Ability to resolve technical issues and to manage, coordinate and guide a project team
• Comfortable with leading several workstreams as part of a program.
• Strong issue resolution and risk management skills
• Previous experience using project management methodologies
