The Department of Public Health provides IT support for all public health programs from WIC to STD prevention to Child lead testing and is looking for a senior-level Production Support DBA.
The Department of Public Health provides IT support for all public health programs from WIC to STD prevention to Child lead testing and is looking for a senior-level Production Support DBA. This position includes day to day support of existing databases, reports, and procedures, and may include enhancements to an existing solution as needed.
The contractor will primarily be working with SQL Server 2016 + and the business until will mainly utilize this person for Production support (Production DBA) the majority of the role will be production support, although some work with developers may be required if directed by the of the Lead DBA.
This person will be required to have stored procedure development experience in addition to SQL. The operating systems the current databases are running on include Microsoft Window Server 2019 Datacenter, Microsoft Window Server 2016 Datacenter, and Microsoft Window Server 2012R2.
Skill Required
Proficient using MS SQL 2016 or later 8 years REQUIRED
Proficient using SSRS 2015 or later to develop reports - 8 years REQUIRED
Must adhere to development and security standards. 8 years REQUIRED
Experience in interacting with and providing direct support to customers. 8 years REQUIRED
Experience working with DBA for solution delivery. 8 years REQUIRED
Highly professional business writing and interpersonal skills are necessary for customer contact. 8 years REQUIRED
