Product Owner
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 3 Months Contract to Hire
Description:
Minimum 9+ years’ experience in Scrum, Kanban and/or other Agile methodologies
Minimum 3-5 years of Project Management skills along with effective planning and organizational skills to meet business needs on time
Deep hands-on Project Lead experience, as well as facilitation of all Scrum team ceremonies
Experience in conducting interviews with stakeholders to identify process/business needs
Estimated large Epics and ability to breakdown into Features and User Stories appropriately
Involvement with other Agile and/or Waterfall teams, including developers and testers, as a Scrum Master/PM
Proficiency with application lifecycle management tools, such as Azure DevOps, and productivity tools, such as MS Office and Visio
Proactively identified trends and implemented IT and/or business process improvement(s)
Thorough understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Professional and tactful negotiator with influencing and conflict resolution skills
Consulting mindset, innovative, diplomatic personality, and strong problem-solving skills
Team player, creative, positive, and proactive with can-do attitude
Preferred:
Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
Experience with running multiple Scrum teams simultaneously
Certified as Scrum Master, Product Owner, PMP (PMI), and/or CBAP (IIBA)
Strong understanding of Project Intake, Prioritization, and Change Management processes
Experience with Mainframe, Web-based, and Cloud-based platforms
IT experience in Health Care Insurance industry
