Job Description:

Looking for a Product Owner with a domain knowledge of HR systems and processes who will bring top quality expertise while delivering results for key product metrics and goals that support business objectives as you partner with stakeholders across the organization to represent their needs and ensure support for successful release to end users. You will collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define sprint goals, backlog grooming, sprint planning and execution while making key tradeoff decisions when required, smartly using data when it exists and solid judgement when it doesn't, escalating as appropriate.

Duties:

  • Engages in constructive conversations with - and deliver tough messages when needed - to key stakeholders, including senior executives, while continually building professional and productive relationships.
  • Optimizes development team experience.
  • Manage each project's scope and timeline
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups with onshore/offshore teams
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
  • Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location

Required Experience:

  • Must have 5+ years current experience working within a software development environment as a Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner in ecommerce.
  • HR Domain knowledge, HR system knowledge like Workday
  • Understanding of Employee life cycle
  • 4+ years' experience working on complex development projects.
  • 5+ years' experience with creating documentation for communication with varied audiences.
  • 2+ years current experience successfully completing projects within an Agile environment.
  • 2+ years demonstrable experience driving complex technology projects to successful completion.
  • Must possess excellent knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques
  • Experience in project execution and follow-up.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to negotiate and engage with individuals at all levels of the business.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Communicates information in ways that can be easily understood.
  • Must possess strong work ethic, demonstrated attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Deadline oriented and capable of self-management.
