Position: IT Product Owner – Finance
Location: 300 S Riverside Plaza; will be working remotely for now but will have to be onsite once everyone goes back to the office
*open to non-local candidates as long as they are committed to relocating to Chicago and be onsite once ABC Supply returns to the office*
Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Must Haves / Notes from Manger:
· This Finance PO will be splitting 15 financial apps with another Finance PO who is handling all 15 right now
· Has to have experience working with financial applications and be able to speak the finance “lingo”
· This PO is specifically aligned with the finance teams and that side of the business
· Looking for a somewhat senior PO who is able to assess the situation and then create an 18-month forecast as to what they want to do, have a strategic mindset
· This role is very similar to a Business Relationship Manager

-the career trajectory of this person would someone who is currently a Senior BA and wanted to move into more of a leadership role OR a current business leader who still wants to be hands on and wants to move out of a personnel management role
-Looking more for a Business Relationship Manager, this person will be partnering with the business leaders in the finance space
-this person does not need to be an expert in the finance realm, but needs to understand it at a high level so they have educated, productive conversations with the business leaders
-they will be onsite 2 days a week and remote 3 days a week
-this person is the true liaison between the business partner and IT, they will also be helping their business partner with management of the IT vendors
-once they gain the trust of the business partner, this person will be assisting in optimizing business plans and ensuring that initiatives are aligned
-they have flex in bill rate and salary if need be!
Day to Day:
• The IT Product Owner is responsible for the strategic development and management of new and existing initiatives that will drive user adoption, productivity, revenue growth and profitability. You will play a leadership role, collaborating with outstanding technical and design teams in the creation of industry leading solutions.
• In general, IT Product Owner will partner with stakeholders and customers across the organization to develop the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization while continuously reviewing the business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks. The IT Product Owner serves as the conduit between the user community and technology through which requirements and product capabilities are assessed and balanced
