Our Client is hiring a Product Owner responsible for organizing ERP platforms to include tasks, times, and resources, seeing a project through from inception to completion with clear communication. This includes project flows and work, the development of a structure to manage and track changes within the scope of existing projects and cross-functional teams with waterfall and agile frameworks. Our client is a high integrity organization and successful team members including this key role will admit mistakes and take corrective action quickly and be diligent in providing the best solutions while meeting deadlines.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position will lead the vision to create and optimize essential operational software to the organization and help promote sales and customer support efficiency while also ensuring data quality while using agile framework.
  • You will maximize value through careful selection of what developers work on next while creating iterative improvements to delight the customer.
  • As a product owner, you have the courage and the capability to engage when conflict arises and a strong capacity for innovation.
  • Successful team members including this key role will admit mistakes and take corrective action quickly (fail fast) and be diligent in providing the best solutions while meeting deadlines.There is vital interaction with key areas of the company, especially Sales, Customer Support, Finance, andProduct Development.
  • Distill customer and stakeholder needs and wants into clear set of user stories and accept a criteria for our Software and Insight Engineering Teams.
  • Advocate on behalf of the customer and business to the development and data teams.Make decisions about incremental value-add and iterative development within the application using data-driven research.Lead and advocate for agile / scrum-based software development framework.
  • Prioritize and order the product backlogs
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies and fact-finding initiatives.
  • Contribute to the product vision and roadmap.Implement processes and tools that create a simple, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible options for the customer.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working in ERP platforms or financial management and accounting software.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a product manager, product owner, or business analyst.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in an Agile/ Scrum software development environment.
  • Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria, so each backlog item adds value to the end-user.
  • Experience in managing projects and resources in tools such as but not limited to Atlassian (Confluence/JIRA), Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, or WorkFront.
  • Certified Scrum Master / SAFe or Certified Product Owner.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills
