The Product Manager will join and will be responsible for all aspects of product development, delivery and build of Video related DIRECTV Acquisition offer initiatives. In this role you would: 

  • Project manage assigned offer projects for DIRECTV and DIRECTV Stream products
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and develop comprehensive business requirements for each enhancement
  • Manage the Video Offer roadmap by vetting execution of stakeholder priority
  • Analysis of internal system and process limitation that could be enhanced to provide compelling and/or competitive offers in the marketplace
  • Drive best practices and enhancements by taking projects from original concept to implementation as the product subject matter expert
  • Oversee organizational objectives for customer satisfaction, revenue, profit, retention, as applicable
  • Identify and implement enhancements and improved CX for DIRECTV through research and evaluation of past releases and post-production issues
  • Ensure that technical requirements represent the business and broader needs of the cross-functional team
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, resource plans, status reports, testing and project estimates
  • Conduct project meetings and be responsible for project tracking and analysis
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables

Roles & Responsibilities:  

1) Manages cross-functional teams through functional requirements gathering, implementation and validation through to initial launch or lifecycle of a service.

2) Defines functional requirements for wireless services.

3) Manages product development including product requirements gathering and definition, project planning, project management, budgeting, financial acumen, test design and execution, long term tactical roadmap and release management and planning.

4) Communicates product requirements to various organizations such as IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Sales.

5) Leads vendor selection process, delivery, quality required.

6) Develops, maintains, and distributes, standard project management deliverables for the successful launch of new data applications and devices, including implementation plan, project schedule, issues & action items log, meeting minutes, risks assessment and contingencies.
