Job Description :
As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for setting the vision for an Agile Release Train (ART) within a larger program. You will work closely with Product Owners to ensure each individual product contributes to the overall vision. You will be responsible for the overall ROI and budget for your program. Most importantly, you are responsible for empowering the Product Owners to contribute to the overall strategic vision.
Expected Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain the strategic vision for the program including working with stakeholders on their vision and priorities
- Perform program research including market and competitive analysis
- Define and own the Return on Investment (ROI) of the program including providing justification of additional investments
- Understand the workings of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Understand the customer / consumer of the product
- Perform customer and stakeholder follow up and maintain a healthy net promoter score or customer satisfaction score
- Articulate the program vision and direction to the Product Owners
- Decompose the strategic vision into value streams and release trains
- Create, manage, and prioritize program backlog, into Minimal Viable Products (MVP) and divide them over Product Increments (PI)
- Constantly work with IT Stakeholders in laying out the PI Roadmap
- Coordinate the work of Product Owners and their Agile Product Teams for synchronized release of functionality
- Ensure the dependencies and roadblocks for the PI are proactively identified and are actively looking for solutions
- Lead Synchronization sessions with Product Owners to ensure alignment of all product teams
- Provide oversight of Product Owners in the group
- Articulate and conduct stakeholder review sessions and provide regular reporting of the progress made and impediments that need attention
