Discussion:
RTD has numerous custom applications under development and existing applications that have PL/SQL APIs. The PL/SQL codebase will require continuous development, enhancement and monitoring during the period of performance.
Skill Sets Required:
Significant experience with Oracle PL/SQL
Experience with REST APIs
Experience with Oracle PL/SQL packages including DBMS_JOB, DBMS_SCHEDULER.
Familiarity with Informatica is a plus.
Experience with Transportation Services is desirable.
Requirements for ongoing
Develop detailed knowledge of RTD internal IT operations
o Provide ongoing support for RTD production applications and services including: TIES, ETL processing, Rider Alerts, License Plate Lookup, gtfs file generation, Runboard, Runvote, Vehicle Assignments
o Be available to troubleshoot and debug RTD systems as needed on a 24/7 production team.
Build and validate enhancements as required.
o Participate in joint application requirements and design sessions.
o Working with Systems Analyst build designs for new application or enhancements.
o Work in an Agile Application support
Requirements for TIES enhancement
RTD uses TIES as the heart of its scheduling and assignment systems.
o TIES is upgraded and enhanced continuously as business requirements and scheduling operations change.
o Maintain and enhance the PL/SQL associated with mission critical operational reports including traincards and headways, service recap reports, custom HR reporting and others as required.
o Develop and maintain ETL processing to pull and validate schedule information from MTRAM upstream system.
Integrations of HR system to TIES
o Develop application logic to support Payroll operations.
o Develop and maintain PL/SQL logic to support ETL processing from ERP system into TIES.
