Sr. Performance Engineer
u>Required Qualifications:/u>
ul>
li>5+ years of IS/IT experience, including experience in Performance Testing. BS or equivalent in computer science or engineering./li>
li>Experience with Unix commands and shell scripting./li>
li>Experience with HP Load runner or similar load testing tools./li>
li>Knowledge of Oracle technologies Oracle 11g and PL/SQL (Understanding of Query plans, AWR Reports etc/li>
li>Understanding of performance testing concepts (CPU Utilization, Response time, network latency, think time, etc./li>
li>Good data collection/analysis/compilation/data comparison/data presentation skills./li>
li>Knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies./li>
li>Understanding of any version management tool like SVN, VSS etc./li>
li>Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly/li>
li>Ability to apply technical knowledge and experiences to facilitate the resolution of various technical issues. Does not have to solve them alone, but must be able to lead a group of SMEs from different disciplines in order to arrive at a solution/li>
li>Strong interpersonal skills – including verbal and written communication./li>
li>Strong problem solving skills: innovation, collaboration./li>

u>Preferred Qualifications/u>
ul>
li>Operational experience with at any of the following: UNIX, Oracle, Networking or Middleware, Batch processing, Informatica, Network architecture, Storage architecture, AIX, Weblogic/li>
li>Understanding of and experience in leading development efforts on the J2EE platform./li>
