Title : Performance Engineer
Location : Hartford, CT. / Charlotte, NC
Duration : 6+ Months (Possibility of Extension)
JD :
Minimum Experience: 10+ Years
At least 10 years of overall experience with CORE PE skills and extensive experience in DYNATRACE (certification will be an added advantage)
Skills:
Tuning and Result Analysis (APM tools DynaTrace, AppDynamics. Dashboard Creation, RUM and configuration, Caching, AWR)
Thorough understanding of Multi/3-Tier Architecture with Web/App/DB layers (Clustering, Replication Services and DR)
Thorough knowledge of Deployment Architecture from Logical/Physical/Infrastructure stand point (Vertical and Horizontal scaling /)
Thorough knowledge of Architectural difference between 32-Bit and 64-Bit Systems and its bearing on Performance
Very strong skills in CICD Pipeline, Jenkins, Cloud Architecture/Solution and Concepts
Acquaintance of Server Hardware and Storage (Local Disc, SSD, SAN, NAS)
Workload Modeling , using webserver (Apache Tomcat and IIS HTTP Logs) and tools like Weblog Expert, AWStats, Webalizer, Splunk
Performance Test Strategy and Planning, Performance Environment Setup and Test Data
Script Development (using, LoadRunner, JMeter, Selenium) along with strong passion and experience in any Programming Language (C, C++, Java, Python, Shell, JavaScript)
