Role: Performance Engineer Architect
Location: Mooresville, NC [Remote - till travel bans are not lifted]
Tenure: 6+ Months/ Potential to Extend Or Convert to Perm Hire
Must Have''s:
3-5 years performance engineer architect experience – NOT A TESTER
Google cloud (preferred) or AWS
Monitoring tools such as Grafana/Prometheus or any newer tools
A Big Plus = Retail Experience
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Application Architect-I is business analysis, application design, development, integration and delivery and application maintenance and support functions.
The Application Architect-I participates in defining functional designs and application systems architecture across all technologies and platforms, for projects of low to moderate complexity.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall system design of simple to moderately complex applications.
Documents development requirements for database, applications, and operation system environment.
Consults with end users to test and debug applications to meet client needs.
Serves as expertise in all aspects of designing and application development.
May conduct training to IT Staff.
Job Requisites:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field required.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in Application Architecture or related field
Strong working knowledge of microservices, containerization/docker and orchestration/Kubernetes
Solid experience with Linux, Kubernetes, GCP, PKS, Jenkins, Spinnakar in terms of both tools and systems administration Automated software test frameworks.
Expert knowledge of leading APM tools (e.g. Splunk, Dynatrace/OneAgent, PinPoint, Wily etc)
Knowledge of mobile (Android / iOS) and web performance instrumentation and analysis
Familiar or experienced with load testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NetStrom/NetCloud
Solid experience with SQL performance tuning.
