We are seeking an experienced and outstanding  PeopleSoft Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Analyst for one of our esteemed clients. 

The job description is as follows: 

Job Title: PeopleSoft Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Analyst

Work Location: Houston, TX

Duration: Long Term

The HRIS Analyst, Senior ensures that the operational interests of all Human Resources areas are being fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the HRIS Department. 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (And) Four (4) Years Work Experience of experience in HRIS

Prefer - in a Hospital/Health Care Organizations.

1. Ensures activities are aligned between HR and IT strategies.
2. Manages the implementation of HR projects. Must be able to meet budget, schedule, and deliverable requirements within 15% of estimates.
3. In partnership with HR business areas, identifies business process improvements enabled through technology; drives change to achieve results.
4. Facilitates assessment of business needs, evaluates processes and defines business requirements to recommend and implement business solutions for new and existing HR processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Partners with IT on all phases of the application development/implementation lifecycle, including creation of functional specifications.
6. Manages the implementation of new/enhanced solutions and workflow processes to increase operating.
efficiency and improve productivity in the most effective manner.
7. Provides analytical and project management support to the ongoing production schedule as well as major processes such as system conversions/upgrades and annual processes (e.g. benefits open enrollment) in collaboration with IT.
8. Develops PeopleSoft queries as requested.
9. Coordinates with vendors on the implementation of applications.
10. Reports project activity and status to management.
11. Must fully understand functional processes and business rules outside of application. Must be able to recommend process improvements. based upon industry standard in addition to resolving integrated process issues.
12. Must have a thorough understanding of the limitations and opportunities presented by the applications supported.
13. Must be able to handle multiple activities simultaneously, be able to prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines.

14. Acts as key liaison between HR business areas and IT and as expert for PeopleSoft HR functionality. 

15. Escalates issues appropriately and expeditiously to appropriate individuals.
