Position: Oracle HCM Cloud Project Manager

Duration:  12 month contract

Location: Calgary, AB.

Project Manager Job Details

• The Project Delivery Office is looking to fill the role of an Intermediate to Senior Project Manager for an Oracle HCM project. 
• The Project Manager will have 2 core HR sponsored initiatives:
• 1) Oracle HCM (Fusion) - Implement Oracle's quarterly release of upgrades and enhancements.  Some new features are mandatory, some are opt-in.  Scope of the upgrade could include :
• Business Process Optimization
• Employee & HR User Experience Optimization
• Reporting 
• Security
• Oracle HCM is an enterprise app used across all of our client's companies.  There will be an OCM component to ensure smooth implementation and adoption.
• 2) Ingentis -  Implement a 3rd party application to enable enhanced org chart creation and management capability.

Project Manager Responsibilities

• The IT Project Manager will manage all technology aspects of the project.
• The IT PM will be the primary liaison between the HR,  external vendors and other IT groups. 

Responsibilities:

• Manages assigned projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project
• Manages 3rd party vendor SOWs to track progress against milestones.
• Manage any required vendor escalations, engaging our Vendor Mgmt team as required.
• Follow established processes to engage the services of our Managed Service Provider.
• Adhere to IT's project governance and controls following our Flex Methodology and gating reviews.  
• Ensure project status is updated as required by the Project Delivery Office
• Meet Project Accounting requirements regarding budget forecasts and accurals. 

Project Manager Must Have Skills

• Oracle HCM (Fusion) experience (5+ years)
• Proficient in MS Project
• Experience with MS Teams and O365 tools
• Experience coordinating technology projects with multiple integrations and interdependencies
• Ability to manage 3rd party vendors and their deliverables
• Experience working with a Managed Service Provider
• Experience in project delivery following a structured methodology and IT Governance
• 5-10 years Project Management Experience
• Strong facilitation and negotiation skills 
• Risk Management 
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.
• Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.
• Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.
