Job Title : Oracle Fusion Middleware Forms APEX Consultant - REMOTE
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a contractor who is experienced in Oracle Forms, Reports and APEX Developer for a 30 week+ assignment. This is a REMOTE role. Position requires participation in the planning, architecture, analysis, design, implementation, and operations of Oracle Fusion Middleware Forms, Reports and APEX upgrade-based projects. The selected candidate(s) will be part of a core team that will serve as an escalation point for complex Middleware/Application technical issues with one of our Federal clients in the Washington DC area.
The consultant will be expected to support:
* Provide systems integration support and development where needed
* Perform as-is and to-be architecture analysis and develop physical and logical architecture models for FMW platform.
* Ensure successful implementation of solution designs through collaborative project team communication, planning documentation, system testing, and defect resolution. * Participate in project planning and project status communications.
* Provide senior-level technical troubleshooting on complex issues requiring rapid resolution related to FMW environments
* Experience with shell scripting in a Unix/Linux environment
* 5+ years' experience developing and upgrading Oracle Forms and Reports applications from as lower version to a higher version (example: 6i to 12c, or 4.5 to 12c)
* 5+ years' experience converting/migrating Oracle Forms and Reports applications to Oracle APEX
* 3+ years' experience with database and/or SQL performance tuning
* 5+ years' experience with Oracle APEX
* 7+ years' experience with Oracle databases with the capability to write complex queries and develop complex PL/SQL database objects, including both DML and DDL.
* Experience with Oracle's WebUtil package for File I/O
* Experience with Oracle 11g & 12c databases
* Manage day-to-day efforts toward project accomplishments and on-going operations
* Provide senior-level technical troubleshooting on complex issues requiring rapid resolution related to Oracle Fusion Middleware applications and environments
Participate in the development of architecture and enterprise deployment methodology for Oracle Fusion Middleware platform in support of multiple applications
* Establish and apply best practices, to ensure successful implementation of solution designs through collaborative project team communication, planning documentation, system testing, and defect resolution
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years of technical consulting experience
* Experience performing hardware/software installation planning and implementation in support of Oracle Fusion Middleware Forms and Reports
* Proven troubleshooting skills of enterprise applications
* Strong client relationship/management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical personnel
