  • Oracle EPM Cloud experience is mandatory.

  • Performs advisory and implementation services to address business needs throughout the enterprise leveraging the Oracle EPM technology platform.
  • Manages complex large-scale implementations working with our Financial Services Group.
  • This role is expected to substantially focus on upgrading an Oracle EPM implementation to the cloud, work may also involve other EPM/Essbase applications.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2 to 4 years of related work experience in Oracle EPM / Planning Cloud with exposure in a similar environment
Experience with at least 2 full system development life cycle implementations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability delivering complex and time sensitive projects
Strong leadership skills; able to conduct meetings and write technically oriented documents
Able to work with clients to understand current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives
Ability to define how an enterprise information system will align with the organization's business and strategic objectives
In addition, the candidate should have experience with standard design frameworks for analysis, design, building, testing and maintenance.
Experience using Oracle EPM / Planning, NetSuite, and OneCloud/EPMAutomate are preferred and recommended.
Candidates must possess the technical capabilities to extract data, organize and build Planning applications utilizing the Planning framework.
The engineer should possess strong interpersonal communication skills to be able to bridge the gap between business and technical users to understand and assess requirements and deliver data driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
Participate in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, & build phases
Responsible for documenting business requirements, system design and transformational goals
Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing
Help to create training materials and quick reference guides to support user adoption
Conduct training classes to prepare end users for deployment
Provide post-production support
Other general and administrative responsibilities include participation in meetings and preparation of minutes as appropriate
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
Assist practice leadership in creating proposals, budgets, and work plans. Participate in other business development activities as appropriate
Oracle Cloud Planning Sr. Data Engineer will be responsible for developing data models, data ETL pipelines, forms, calculations, and reports in a Oracle EPM/Planning Cloud, to support business needs for analytics, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
The engineer will assist an existing team with migration from an older implementation of Oracle Planning to an updated Planning Cloud implementation.
The candidate will provide guidance and support for the set-up of the new environment along with best practices and recommendations based on industry and hands on experience as an Oracle Planning implementer.
The role will also involve adhering to data governance standards and practices along with experience developing in an agile environment.
