Job Description:

The desired candidate will work as a Projects Technical Functional Tier 2 Help Desk SME supporting an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Federal agency ERP shared-service program. As an experienced professional in growing Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS), the candidate will be part of a team where complex problem solving, and communication skills are critical to success.  The candidate will work closely with the Business matter experts, financial management office (FMO) resources, program management office (PMO) resources and Help Desk resources to perform analysis and troubleshooting of production issues. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform root cause analysis of production issues and determine appropriate technical/functional solutions.
  • Develop custom data fixes for nonstandard Oracle processes.
  • Create Oracle Service requests
  • Provide Technical support to functional Help Desk SME’s
  • Understand custom process issues and provide solution to aid in creation of JIRA stories
  • Provide support to other teams on the DEAMs project.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and ten years’ large-scale Oracle ERP implementation and sustainment experience
  • Experience with Oracle EBS Federal Financial Management supporting Federal agencies is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.4 or above
  • Experience with Oracle Unified Method (OUM), Agile development methodologies, and Oracle EBS RICEFW development
  • Experience with PL/SQL development including Stored Procedures, Constraints, Joins, Keys, Indexes, Data Import/Export, Triggers and Cursors
  • Experience in SQL tuning
  • Proficient in Oracle Application Framework (OAF), SOA, OBIEE
  • Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, XML Publisher and SQL Loader
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of Oracle Projects and at least one or more of the following Oracle EBS R12 process areas: Budget to Report (B2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Acquire to Retire (A2R), and Order to Cash (O2C), and others
  • Experience with integration to Oracle E-Business Suite and /or legacy systems
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance.
