Required Skills:
Responsible for the 24/7 support of Oracle database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security, and performance
Promptly and professionally answer incoming calls / emails, determine the caller’s needs, answer general inquiries and / or gather appropriate information to support timely resolution of the request
Document the call, and if applicable, initiate and follow the appropriate workflow when the issue is not immediately resolved and/or escalated
19c/18c/12c Oracle RAC installation, administration
Exadata Administration – YUM patch install, BP patch, patch install, cell node administration
Active Dataguard setup, administration, installation , Failover and Switchover process
Recovery Manager configuration, administrations,
Tape backup configuration, hands-on recovery and restoration procedures
Database configuration & Administration
Internal parameter configurations
Backup/recovery configurations
Oracle Enterprise Manager setup
Golden Gate installation and Setup.
HA configuration implementation (Instance Load-balancing, cluster maintenance)
Monitoring tool installation and configuration
Database startup/shutdown Database moves (Host to Host)
Database copies/Refresh (Prod to Dev, QA)
Database upgrades
Coordinate with database vendors for resolution
Support application support/development teams
